My Cow Story
Growing up on a very, very small farm we had one cow. Boy or boy was he mean, and bad!
Kept breaking through the fence. My father got so mad one evening that he took a chain,
put it around his neck, and tied him to a tree (like a dog on a leash).
That lasted about two days. My brother got so upset with dad that he unchained him,
drove a steak through the middle of the corn field, and chained the cow there.
When my dad came home from work, and noticed the cow missing he flipped!
What the h... happened to that g.. d... cow- he shouted. My brother said:
The one you chained to the tree in the back yard... Oh he's in the corn field.
What!! Why? That makes no sense at all!! my father said.
My brother looked at him, and said:
And chaining him to the tree did?
My father looked down, stormed outside, and drove off in his red Ford pick up.
About an hour later he came back with new fence, plywood, and lots of two by fours.
He was outside until dusk building that addition on to the coop where that mean, bad
cow spent the rest of the summer until the butcher came to our house in the fall.
The End.
