Hello Everyone! My husband is active duty military and we are currently stationed overseas. We are looking at getting out and joining the civilian world in about 6 months and our dream is to have a small farm for the purpose of growing/raising our own food. I worked at a dairy farm growing up, but apart from that, we have no experience. I was hoping I could get some suggestions for books/resources I could look into for good information as we begin our journey. We are not really interested in doing it for money at this time, just for our food. The questions I have are probably very basic. Like, how much acreage would we need, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone! Smile
