New In Every Way
Hello Everyone! My husband is active duty military and we are currently stationed overseas. We are looking at getting out and joining the civilian world in about 6 months and our dream is to have a small farm for the purpose of growing/raising our own food. I worked at a dairy farm growing up, but apart from that, we have no experience. I was hoping I could get some suggestions for books/resources I could look into for good information as we begin our journey. We are not really interested in doing it for money at this time, just for our food. The questions I have are probably very basic. Like, how much acreage would we need, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone!
